Onomatopoeia
Definition:
An onomatopoeia is a word that imitates the sound it describes.
Example:
Snap, crackle, pop!
Significance:
Onomatopoeias are important because they are a part of auditory imagery, making a poem's descriptions more vivid and realistic.
